Kirsty Petersen

Kirsty is a highly capable and competent Human Resources practitioner with over a decade of experience.  Having worked extensively as a Manager prior to going into Human Resources and Employment Relations, Kirsty brings a unique and insightful perspective to bossed.  Kirsty values honesty and integrity and prides herself on being matter of fact and fair.

As an HR generalist, Kirsty can assist across a broad range of employment issues.  Having worked in HR for some of New Zealand’s largest employers in a multitude of industries, she has an excellent knowledge of what good HR and ER practises should look like.  In terms of management experience, she has lead teams as small as two, right up to teams of over 250 people. She has also been involved in countless restructures, from both an employer and employee perspective.

Kirsty is a capable and empathetic advocate for clients who are trying to resolve employment relations issues, whether they are employers or employees.  Skilled at thinking on her feet, Kirsty often fields the calls from new bossed clients, and consistently provides excellent on the spot advice and guidance. Her ability to ask the right questions is invaluable as is her ability to respond quickly and appropriately. 

Kirsty is currently based in the Hauraki Region, on the boarder of Waikato and The Coromandel. Like the rest of the bossed team, Kirsty works remotely and is available to assist clients anywhere in New Zealand.
